Why does Art matter?
All of us a taking part in shaping our realities. But to create the reality we long for, we must first be able to visualise it.
This is where the artist steps in.
Art creates windows of possibility.
Art draws maps of ways yet to live.
Time for my story, right?
I certainly did not walk the classical path.
Before working as a full-time creative I was a social worker specialised in supporting Victims of Human Trafficking and Prostitution. So what happened then?
Well, quite simple: I became a Mama bear! After giving birth to my son I realised that the emotional baggage of social work was too much for me. I looked for ways how to give a voice to the topics that matter to me in a different medium -
And this let me publish my first Graphic Novel "Big City Violets" in 2016.
From then on I could not stop drawing, writing and documenting all the wonders around me.
